Job Description
With the new requirements established by the Ordre des dentistes du Québec, we are looking to strengthen our sterilization team.
Our colleague currently responsible for sterilization will soon be going on maternity leave. We would like to take advantage of her remaining time with the team to provide comprehensive training and ensure a smooth transfer of knowledge to the person joining us.
Sterilization plays an essential role in the smooth operation of our clinic. This position directly contributes to efficient daily operations, everyone’s safety, and the overall success of our clinical team.
We are therefore looking for someone who is reliable, thorough, organized, and enjoys working as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Receive, sort, and inspect used medical instruments and equipment
- Clean and decontaminate instruments and equipment
- Perform the various sterilization cycles according to established procedures
- Monitor and document sterilization equipment parameters
- Store and distribute sterile instruments and supplies to the appropriate areas
- Strictly follow hygiene, infection prevention, and safety standards
- Collaborate with team members to ensure that the necessary instruments and supplies are available for the smooth delivery of patient care
Candidate Profile
Requirements
- Experience in the healthcare sector and with sterilization is considered an asset
- Proficiency in spoken and written French
